Accessing Pauspam from Paubox Storage
Recently Paubox has allowed certain users (Premium Account users only) to manage their Pauspam settings from within their storage account. To access the Pauspam settings, follow the instructions below.
- Sign into your Paubox Storage account.
- Once you are logged into the homepage, click the drop down arrow in the upper right hand corner, then click on Admin Panel.
Managing Pauspam from Paubox Storage
Whitelisting
To Whitelist a domain name/email address(es): This means an email was marked as SPAM in your inbox, but it is NOT SPAM and you would like the SPAM label removed.
- Click on Inbound Rulesets
- Click on Add new rules and make sure that Rule Type is set to Whitelist From
- In the text field, enter the ( * ) symbol before the specific email address(es). If you would like to whitelist an entire domain name,you can enter everything after the @ symbol (ex. @example.com) after the (*) symbol. Enter one email address/domain name per line.
- Click Confirm.
Blacklisting
To Blacklist a domain name/email address(es): This means you want to mark a domain name (the part after @ in any email address) as SPAM so it doesn't show up in your email inbox.
- Click on Inbound Rulesets
- Click on Add new rules and make sure that Rule Type is set to Blacklist From
- In the text field, enter the ( * ) symbol before the specific email address(es). If you would like to whitelist an entire domain name,you can enter everything after the @ symbol (ex. @example.com) after the (*) symbol. Enter one email address/domain name per line.
- Click Confirm.
Release and Whitelist
To Release and Whitelist Email: This means that emails were in quarantine because they are suspected of being SPAM, however you know that the sender is good and want to release the emails into your Inbox now, and any emails from that sender going forward.
- Click on Inbound Quarantine
- Select the appropriate emails and select Release and Whitelist.
- You have now successfully released and whitelisted the current emails from that sender into your inbox. Moving forward, emails from that sender will not be marked as SPAM and will go to your inbox.
- You can also choose to only Release the selected emails, however if senders from the selected email addresses send you emails again, it will continue to be marked as SPAM.
