Data compliance is a becoming an active issue in many organizations in 2014. Here at Pau Spam, we believe email should be encrypted at every opportunity. We are thus pleased to announce that we are taking active steps in this direction of compliance.
Here are important settings to connect to our new Pau Spam Email Compliance Hosting Platform:
Outlook 2013 IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Outgoing Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Username: [your email address]
Outgoing Server requires Authentication
TLS Encryption is Required
Outlook 2013 POP
Incoming Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Outgoing Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Username: [your email address]
Outgoing Server requires Authentication
Make sure the Incoming POP3 server port is set to 995 and SSL is enabled.
Also make sure Outgoing server uses TLS encryption.
iPhone IMAP
- Go to Settings.
- On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Other.
- Tap Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Name, Email, Password, and a short Description for your email. Tap Next.
- Make sure the IMAP tab is selected, then enter these settings under INCOMING MAIL SERVER:
- Host Name: m.pauspam.net
- User Name: [your Pauspam email address]
- Password: [your Pauspam email password]
- Next, enter these settings under OUTGOING MAIL SERVER:
- Host Name: m.pauspam.net
- User Name: [your Pauspam email address]
- Password: [your Pauspam email password]
- Tap Next.
- If you see a screen that’s titled, Cannot Verify Server Identity click Continue.
- Tap Save.
- Click on your newly added Paubox email account
- Under IMAP, tap on your account email address
- Scroll down to Advanced
- Under the category Deleted Messages, make sure it is set to Never
- All done!
Make sure Outgoing Mail Server uses username and password for authentication
Mozilla Thunderbird IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Outgoing Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Username: [your email address]
STARTTLS Encryption is required
Mac Mail POP
Incoming Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Outgoing Mail Server: m.pauspam.net
Username: [your email address]
Click the “Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)” dropdown box and select “Edit SMTP Server List..” Once there, make sure “Server Name:” is set to m.pauspam.net
On the Advanced tab, make sure “Use default ports (25, 465, 587)” is selected. Make sure “Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)” is checked. Authentication must be set to ‘Password’ and then make sure to enter your email address and password.
Back at the main screen for Mac Mail Preferences, click on the Advanced tab and make sure “use SSL” is checked, the port is set to 995 and Authentication is set to ‘Password’
